Elihu Jos Benam
Leader and Blogger
Passionate about New Technologies and themes related to the assertion of youth in major development issues, I work for the first radio audience in the Central African Republic (Radio Ndekeluka) and Leader (Former Executive Member of the National Council of Central African Youth).
I set up the I YEKE TENE NI initiative, a reflection that focused on freedom of expression in Africa. It has one of the most followed pages in the country (+23,000 followers).
Trained by Barack Obama's YALI Program, I set up the first youth street interviews in the Central African Republic. I carried the country's torches to the First Dialogue of Young African Leaders in Morocco, then to Technology Week in Kenya.
As a filmmaker, I produced one of the best short films in the country called "EBOUNDA" which evokes the difficulty of young girls at school in remote towns. I also experimented with the role of actors by playing for several films going into the process of development and affirmation of Central African Youth.
I won the Photo Prize of the International Organization of La Francophonie in 2023 for tourist incursions in the city of Bossangoa in Central Africa.
